CE News 3 March 25
Hey, wonderful singers. Last rehearsal was a fantastic one for learning to sing high notes. What is amazing is that it works! Thanks Andre for sharing some of your fabulous knowledge and skills with us. I keep remembering "dead fish, dead fish" to keep my tongue relaxed.
As a reminder, we have our Wednesday rehearsal at EMCS on Wednesday, and then our first long rehearsal on Saturday at St Rose of Lima church in Sooke. I'm still looking for a couple of volunteers to bring goodies: they can be purchased or homemade. Maybe some mini muffins? Timbits? We have only one volunteer currently, so please consider letting me know that you can bring something for Saturday (send an email to choralevolution@gmail.com). Thank you!
Make sure you check out Andre's notes for the upcoming rehearsal. And Paul did record our last rehearsal (thanks, Paul); it is available when you click on the Practice Tracks button. Several have stated that they found it helpful for review, so have a listen and sing along.
Please make sure you read the email about smoking/vaping on school properties. We must respectfully comply if we wish to remain at either school site for rehearsal. There is also a reminder of the scent policy.
We are still in flu and sickness season: please be aware and work at preventing infections by washing your hands. If you are unwell and unsure if you should attend, please refer to the wellness policy in the members area under the Policy and Procedure button. Stay well everyone!
See you Wednesday!
