20 Sept 2025 CE News
Hey, everyone. Hope you are having a great weekend, and using every opportunity to listen to the tracks. Repetition is key, my friends.
And I now seem to have a few of the songs running through my head all the time....including when I wake up! Are you having the same experience? Perhaps our brains are trying to learn the songs unconsciously? Whatever it is, it works!
Thank you again to everyone for the great participation last rehearsal; you can see that everyone is rehearsing at home. And now, we are moving into our sectional rehearsals which gives each section a chance to work on the niggly-bits....parts that give us trouble...and iron them out. Each section (sometimes the bass/tenor are combined) have a section lead who knows something about music and can plan for meetings together with their group. I know some leaders have already come forward, so thank you! We will try to arrange for this on Wednesday so that we can get a head start on these rehearsals. They really go hand-in-hand with our weekly rehearsals, so please try to make as many as you can.
We will be in Langford for our next rehearsal so there is a reminder of using the underground parking, or the parking behind the building. It is a great space. Thank you to everyone who helped with chairs, so lets do it again on Wednesday!
Reminder that the site new password is Canada25...although, you would have needed that to read this, wouldn't you. If you hear that someone in the choir can't access, please share with them. The members list will be shared in the members area soon; please remember that it is only for choir purposes so please do not share with anyone outside the current choir.
Mark November 8 in your calendars if you are able to attend the singing of O Canada at the hockey game at Save on Foods Arena. This is a new experience for us, and should be a fun one.
See you in Langford on Wednesday!
